Customers often ask how I got started in the holster business. The answer is quite simple. No matter how much I spent on leather gear, there was nothing available that met my standards. So in September of 1991, I set out to manufacture the indisputably finest quality Gunleather products ever. Apparently, I have been successful, as evidenced by the number of “me too” copies of my designs.
It’s been thirty years since I began offering my products to the public, and I would like to thank all of those who have made our products the most renowned gun leather in the industry.
In my shop, we manufacture the finest, most sought after holsters, belts, and accessories anywhere in the universe. It’s a testimony to our designs and quality that we have earned the dubious distinction of being the most copied holster manufacturer ever, both by mass-market mills and small hobby shops alike.
We offer all of our products in standard best quality cowhide, plus sharkskin, genuine shell cordovan, ostrich, crocodile, and a limited supply of elephant hide.
It is not our practice to produce “new” products simply for the sake of increasing sales. Any holster we manufacture will utilize a painstakingly thought-out design intended for a specific purpose; it will be engineered and manufactured using only the precise amount of material necessary, and no more. It will be tested for at least six months of day-to-day wear, and only if suitable, will be added to our product line.
To ensure correct carriage and best concealment of the piece, all fitting is done by hand, with great attention to detail. A crisp front sight is essential to accurate bullet placement; our holsters are either fitted with stitched-on sight rails or have a dowel sight track.
Best quality cowhide is and always has been the premier leather for the manufacture of holsters, belts, and accessories for the concealed carry of handguns. It forms and colors beautifully, as well as being extremely durable and long-lasting.
The best pistol and rig will be of precious little value without proper training. It is essential for any person who carries a pistol for defensive purposes to seek professional training and to maintain the learned skills through regular practice. I strongly recommend attending as many defensive pistol classes as possible from qualified, credentialed sources.
As has always been my policy, I will always make myself available for a brief chat with customers regarding the products we manufacture.
Yours in safety and freedom,
